Community Open Studios
Claim Your Space in the Inspirational Studios of Peninsula School of Art
We consider November through April our “quiet season,” when workshops aren’t as plentiful on our campus, and Door County takes on an even more relaxed pace. This is the time we open our light-filled, generously appointed studios to individuals and groups in search of a space for self-directed creativity. (We have some groups that have even made it their annual tradition for years!)
You’re free to utilize special equipment like potter’s wheels, jewelry torches, an etching press, or substantial easels for large-scale work. If you have special equipment or studio needs, please let us know ahead of time.
Shared studio space is available for rent Tuesday through Saturday. Come for a few days or a week and enjoy the luxury of an expansive workspace without having to set up or take down your materials during the continuous length of your rental. If you choose to come one day a week, or even a few days a month throughout the winter, storage is available for rent for supplies you want to put away until your next workday.

Open Studio Rentals: $15/day per person or $65 for five days or $120 for ten days
Storage lockers are available for $30/month.
Other amenities include unlimited complementary hot coffee in our Guenzel Gallery and full kitchen privileges.
