This workshop introduces young artists to papier-mache as a durable material for creating sculptural or functional artworks. Techniques are first introduced and practiced on a bowl or vase before moving on to the larger endeavor of creating a self-portrait bust. Learn how to add dimensional elements and features to create a truly unique sculpture. Pieces are completed using tempera paint. Note: No class on Thursday, July 4th.
